A Quick Visitor Map with Maps.Amung.Us

You might have noticed a little flash map on the right hand side of the page. Maps.amung.us has a neat little flash gadget that not only shows you a map of visitor locations, but it also records some basic web stats for you.

You can create your own custom visitor map in a minute or so at their site, slap the embed HTML on your page, and viola, custom visitor map.

Note that it shows current visitors on the site, not all of the visitors that have been there. If you see you are the only one on the site, rest assured that’s just because the bazillions of other people that visit this site just took a bathroom break. Really.

I’m not sure how long it will hang out in my side bar, but for now it looks snazzy.
